12'x12' Gambrel Barn Shed Plans

12x12 shed plans

12x12 shed plans have a 144 square foot foot print. An 12x12 storage shed is large enough to drive a riding lawn mower in to or set up a office shed or studio shed to have a home office. There are many styles of 12x12 garden sheds including 12x12 shed plans with steeper roofs, tall sheds that have full sized pre-built doors, modern sheds which are most often used as an office shed, and the ever popular regular storage shed.

Our 12x12 shed plans include many styles of sheds:

THE GABLE SHED is the most common shed style because of its simplicity and utility. Our 12x12 gable shed plans come with the option to install the doors on the gable end or the eve sides of the shed.
LEAN TO12x12 SHED PLANS include plans to install the doors on any of the shed sides. The roof is a low slope shed roof with a 1/12 pitch.
12X12 SHED PLANS WITH GARAGE DOOR is specially designed to accomodate larger equipment like riding lawn mowers or 4 wheelers. The shed plans come with details showing the framing opening for a 8' wide and 7' tall roll up garage door.
12X12 GAMBREL SHED PLANS include plans for a loft area up in the ceiling. This loft adds an additional 84 square feet of storage with an average of 3' of head room.

"I like the idea of constructing the unit from scratch, what I call stick building it piece by piece - we've seen the lightweight think plastic walled units from (a home store), ok I guess but the heavier wooden unit with permanent roofing will last longer and give better service. It was a good plan and easy to build from, I don't think the contractor had any difficulties with it." Gary
