Roof Vents

Building codes require 1 sf. of venting for every 150 sf. of roof. The 150 sf. of roof is not the square footage of the home. It is the square footage of the floor that the roof is over. This code is a minimum, it is a good idea to be generous with this code and install plenty of venting. Roofs simply last longer the cooler they are.
